I was sewing along just fine until I began stitching a new Color Break. As soon as I began stitching - my thread started breaking. I already re-threaded both my bobbin and my machine and everything looks right though my thread is still breaking. What in the world is wrong?

Oh, if I had a nickel for every time this question gets asked!

…And it seems that the answer is always the same.

If you are using a pressing pad - have you seen it recently? Smart money says you left it under your hoop the last time you pressed a seam. Remove your hoop, grab your seam ripper and remove the stitches that are securing your pressing pad to the back of your quilt block. Return to the beginning of the Color Break you were working on and promise yourself that you will try to never forget to remove your pressing pad again!
